This is a Sticky post to inform you about pix. Tabulas has 2 types of accounts: paid and unpaid. Not having a job leaves me with no money, which means I have a free account.
However, with a free account, there can only be 30 pix in my gallery. Every time I upload a pic in an entry, it is added to my gallery automatically. So, when I add pix, I have to delete old pix. If you are reading the older entries and I have written there are pix on there and there aren't, that's why. I had to delete them to put pix in newer entries. However, the pix aren't completely lost - I have copies of them on disk or on my PC, so if you really want to see them, get in touch with me. Thats it.

its been a long time since i've updated this. i just updated the gallery section.
took away those HORRIBLE pictures from this summer .. where i had a haircut that was way too short and ... ugh *shudders*
what was i thinking? maybe .. I wasn't ..

anywho.. i think i may re-introduce the tabula.. i kind of miss keeping it up.

So, as far as Lily goes, everyone has until Wednesday to get used to it. After that, I will no longer respond to my middle name.

Today in sociology (during a test) I wrote a poem for my senior seminar in writing class (because we have to write a series of 3)
here it is:

Test Day

Like a symphony
carefully composed
with each note delicately placed
are the sniffles
sneezes
and coughs
of my classmates.
I sit enthralled
enraptured
by the new musical world around me
and suddenly its my turn
I warm up my instrument
and add my part
cough
sniff sniff.

Matt McNally reminds me so much of Jim - it's cool!

Tonight, I also heard the poet laureate of the United States speak. His poetry is great!! I don't know that I've ever been a poetry fan, but Ted Kooser could definitely change me.
His poetry is so clear and to the point and it's simply wonderful! I can't wait to get a book of his poetry.

I have a postcard from God that I want to post on here, but it is currently in my Bible which is currently on the other side of the room.

Okay, I have 2 needs today:
1 - prayer for my test at 11 tomorrow!! Please, please pray. It's in sociology and I haven't gotten to study like I wanted to.

2 - meal points. I always run low every semester and it's happening again If you (or anyone you know) has extra and want to share, please get in touch with me - thanks

Now I'm off to study for my test! Praise God for He is holy! (and good)

this week has been so busy, its crazy.
I'm exhausted - physically, emotionally, intellectually.
but my test that was supposed to be friday (and if it had been > I wouldn't have had time to study) was moved to monday!
so tomorrow will be a day of work, work work!
plus, i have to do laundry
like soon
my mom is putting the $ in the mail for it tomorrow, but dana & callie offered to let me use their catcard so i can do laundry & pay them back whenever the money gets here
i haven't decided what I'm going to do, but I am definitely grateful for the Lord's provision!!

I love guitar! and melanie says I'm a quick learner, which is a good thing I think
this week I'm learning in the secret. the strum to that song wears my arm out! I finally got it down though. now i just have to get down singing & playing at the same time...

I love Jesus! oh, I am so in love. I didn't think I would ever feel like this. It's amazing.
